Thank you! _________________________________________________________________________________ November 2008 Class: Banded Stretch Bracelet When: Thursday, November 6th Time: 6:30-8:30pm Cost: $25.00 Teacher: Linda Flores You will learn the basics of stretchy cording along with simple loops in this class. You will use 4mm and 6mm beads and combine them to make a very cool looking bracelet. The techniques used are very easy but, it will take just a bit of time to put it together. Every time I wear my bracelets I get many compliments from men and women because the bracelet is unique yet simple. This will make a great gift idea! _________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Sparkling Crystal Pendant When: Friday, November 7th Time: 6:00-8:30pm Cost: $25 Teacher: Shannon Ruiz You will enjoy making this Sparkling Crystal Pendant using a right angle weave stitch and combining 15/0 seed beads and 4mm crystals. This pendant is easy to make but, doesn't look like it! You'll want one in every color! String it onto a necklace by adding a 4mm crystal. Shannon will show you in the class how to very simply string it onto a necklace. _________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Simply Elegant When: Sunday, November, 9th Time: 12:30-3:00pm Cost: $25.00 Teacher: Shannon Ruiz This simple to make bracelet may not be made with diamonds but with crystals this bracelet looks elegant and sparkles just the same. This bracelet is back by popular demand. All prior class participants have really enjoyed making this gorgeous design and even shared it with their friends. They have found it easy to make and follow. __________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Basic Polymer Bead When: Saturday, November 15th Time: 2:00pm-5:00pm Cost: $30.00 + supplies (est. $2.75 per color desired) Teacher: Erlinda Mersino Erlinda has been working with Polymer Clay for many years and now we are going to be fortunate enough to have her teach us some great basics about this fun and versatile clay. The clay is very affordable and you do not need any expensive kilns or supplies to complete your projects. The colors or vibrant and the finishes can be matte or shiny. This will be fun and very useful to enhancing your style of beading and making your pieces one of a kind by adding your own hand made beads! _________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Christmas Tree Earring When: Saturday, November 15th Time: 11:00am-1:00pm (walk in any time during these hours to make the earrings). Cost: Free Open House Project + your supplies and crystals Teacher: Ellen Purcell These are the cutest Christmas Earrings you've ever seen. They are made with Swarovski Crystals and are very nice looking. Join us this day from 11am - 1pm to learn to make these simple earrings. This is a great class for young and old alike. I would say a good minimum age would be around 7 yrs. They make great collectable ornaments and are great gift ideas for everyone at work! _________________________________________________________________________________ Saturday after Thanksgiving: Bring your Friends and Family September 29^th, 2008 10:30am to 6:00pm Sale Day and Holiday Open House _________________________________________________________________________________ December2008 Class: Cascading Earring When: Thursday, December 4th Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm Cost: $15.00 Teacher: Linda Flores These earrings are elegant and fun! You can make them for great gifts or you can make them to wear for those festive holiday parties. Wear them with jeans and a t-shirt and they will complete the outfit! You will be using simple loops and three graduating sizes of crystals to make these great earrings. This class is a beginner class for making earrings. _________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Decorative Diamond When: Saturday, December 6th Time: 11:00-2:30pm Cost: $35.00 Teacher: Shannon Ruiz Once again, back due to demand! This is a stunning bracelet. This bracelet uses a right angle weave stitch for the base, then embellishing for the top and sides. You may use crystals, pearls, glass or stone beads to create many different combinations. Select your choice of 4mm beads, 2mm beads and size 11/0 seed beads to complete this great bracelet! This is a popular class so register in advance! ________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Faux Stone & Coin Collection - Polymer Clay When: Saturday, December 13^th Time: 11:00am-1:30pm Cost: $30.00 + supplies Teacher: Erlinda Mersino Learn how to make beads or pendants that look just like stones. You will also, have fun learning to make old looking coins out of polymer clay. Your colors can be vibrant and vivid or earthy and dark depending upon your style and color choice. You will also touch on how to make color recipes for duplicating your results in the future. This is another great basic class in polymer clay. This clay is affordable, easy to work with and does not require expensive kilns or torches. _________________________________________________________________________________ Class: Lacy Wildflower Pendant When: Sunday, December 14^th Time: 1:00pm-2:30pm Cost: $15.00 Teacher: Shannon Ruiz This frilly wildflower pendant is easily made by using peyote stitch, 4mm crystals, and size 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads. Once you learn to make this pendant you will want to make a whole wildflower garden. This pendant is beautiful and combines well on leather, suede or beads! f Please Note h There will be no more classes through the month of December to allow time and space for you, your family and friends to come by and finish making your Christmas Gifts.
