Wrapped Loops are such a wonderful technique to know for making earrings, pendants, dangles and necklaces. It is a technique you can't live without. These loops are easy to make but, without the practice it is difficult to feel confident making them. For those of you who really want to learn wrapped loops we have created this class to allow for plenty of practice time so that you can officially learn how to make a great wrapped loop. This is the first time this class has been offered! You will learn to make simple or decorative tube/spacer beads and how to customize them to your own style and torch fire them. You will also learn to make toggles, hooks and eyes and C-Clasps for your bracelets and necklaces. There's even more fused connections (like the horse in the photo above), rivets, different patinas, etching and even chunky chain like the bracelet pictured above. These fish are great and the class is fins of fun!! Erlinda will teach you how to create the fish out of polymer clay and your many different design options. This class comes about once a year so try and join the fun! The basics of polymer clay will be reviewed so that you can leave with a basic feeling for this great medium and begin to create your own unique designs ranging from whimsical projects like these fish to simple beads, pendants, etc. ___________________________________________________________________________________June 2009 Class: Wire Wrapping with Ginna

In this class you will learn how to wrap a stone with square 22g. and 1/2 round 20g wire. Virginia has many beautiful designs and the photo above does not quite do her work justice so please try and visit to see the sample and photo of other pendants or better yet, just join us. You won't be disappointed you did! This class is available to beginners and both men and women seem to love this technique. Class: Blue-Eyed Daisy - Intermediate Metal Clay
Time: 11:00am-3:00pm Cost: $95 (includes supplies and sapphires for ring) Teacher: Michele Thomas This ring is beautifully detailed with leaves, petals and trailing vines. The blue eyes in the middle of the delicate petals are created with seven tiny genuine dark blue sapphires. The leaves are customized with a syringe which you will learn in class. To paint a better picture, this silver flower is about the size of a quarter, it is garnished with the sapphires and the entire flower sits on a silver band. You will need to have taken a basic PMC class prior but, the teacher could work out a one on one basic class with you, so call us to get pre-trained on the basics if needed. This is one of those classes we can?t really schedule a date for until we have a student. In this class you will complete a jump ring bracelet. As you work one on one with the teacher you will learn about your tools, soldering, making jump rings and the basic steps and feel of silversmith work. Many people have requested this class so call and sign up A.S.A.P. Patsy will then schedule a date that fits your needs. This is also a prerequisite for the coming intermediate silversmith classes. We are currently taking names and numbers of people interested in learning how to make this pendant. We don't have a set date but, will schedule a date once we have a list of about 5 people who desire this teaching. This pendant is beautiful (the photos don't do it proper justice) and easy to make once you learn how. This class is scheduled about two times per year but, if anyone is interested I can always meet with you an hour before the store opens or during store hours to teach you this wonderful technique. Just call and leave your name and phone number so we can discuss times that we can get together. Knotting has become more and more popular these days. Many people want to learn this at different times.
